Well, Greetings at this Time of Good Cheer!

I scribe this somewhat “last minute” Seasonal Greeting whilst looking out on a veritable scene of misery, a Christmas Scene of Deep Snow? NO!, children playing? NO!, icicles dangling? NO, damp fog, misty rain, cold temperatures and grey skies...........Happy Christmas!!

It falls to me then, to make your Christmas, whilst I accept that there may be a certain rotund similarity between me and the Big Man, but I stop short of red costumes, open topped anything in this weather, and Reindeers? Health and Safety would have a field day.

However, not withstanding the rather Victor Meldrew opening, I DO come bearing gifts! Well, one for you which might lead you to treating yourself to considerably more.

I offer for the next twelve weeks, this Festive Frolic in the form of a 20% discount voucher off all spares purchased from me, but PLEASE note, my couriers are quite miserable and will NOT include their services in the offer, so 20% off parts, not carriage.

As always, we wish you all a Peaceful Christmas, a Happy New Year, and we again thank you for your loyalty and custom over the past twelve, sometimes difficult, months.

I have managed to keep up a good supply of parts, indeed, even sourcing some from abroad as necessary. The only notable failure was in trying to source a fabricator for the remade fuel tank sender unit, the firm I had in mind, despite promise after promise, never came up with anything. As always, a balance between cost and volume, small short runs are expensive and longer runs mean unsold stock.

However, my efforts continue, and I will keep you up to date with developments as they happen.

Finally, whilst you sit back and relax post Christmas Luncheon and post Her Majesty, please give some thoughts to sharing your stories, restorations or problems with us here in the newsletter, we’d love to feature the trials and tribulations of our readers, so set pen to paper and dispatch Post Haste!

Well, I’m off to take potshots at low flying reindeer, and if anyone else trumpets a “ho ho ho” in my general direction, I might just test the theory of Bedford hubcaps flying like Frisbees!
