At last we have new stocks of top wishbone bushes and pedal rubbers, including the accelerator pedal. Talking of rubber, (as we are doing,) just in: A new made grommet for the Vauxhall gear box bell housing, the one where the clutch fork goes through, so save dirt and muck from getting in and buy one today!
These have been made for us by a leading United States firm, available now, obsolete since 1989 so not cheap, but what is these days?
As you will have read, the 1600, 2000, 1800, and 2300 Sloper oil pump is now available on an exchange basis. Both types are available, but there may be a long waiting time. For further details please telephone me on 01132-63488.
Good value for money: a batch of 1969 – 1980 front silencer hanging brackets have been RE manufactured for us in stainless steel, at a lower price. Also new tank straps, but in mild steel, Suitable for both van and chassis cabs, have come in.
Martin Watts has written a superb book on all models of Bedford camper vans and Motor Homes, as a founder of the Classic Camper Club, he is a noted vehicle historian in this field. We are stocking the book, it is available for £19.95 including postage.
The book is superbly illustrated with over 200 colour photographs, a real trip down memory lane.
