Hello once more!
On this breezy day, you won’t need me to tell you about rising prices.
As with everyone, all our running costs have risen. We are absorbing what we can, and so we are still able to offer you value for money!
Fuel economy is now even more important than ever, a worn carburettor will cost you money. At the moment, we have a few brand new Weber 34 carburettor at a reduced price of £114, a bargain, supplied with new gaskets. Oh, sorry, plus VAT of course!
Earlier this month, we collected another fully reconditioned 2300 CC engine. This is a fully rebuilt unit, with a new oil pump. All the work has been carried out by W. Drake of Bradford. Please feel free to contact us for specifications of this engine, which will fit Bedford CF 250, 280 & 350 with a 2.3P engine, also Panther Lima Mk 1/2.
A recent find of goodies included original Delco items such as 2.3P, and 1.8P oil filler caps, late CF1 and CF2 hazard rocker switches, automatic petrol/diesel kick down cables (all models).
Finally, the livestock carrier body has found a new home, collected by fellow CF enthusiast Liam of Sheffield, who runs his own small haulage and recovery business, using several well known bright orange CF’s!
A new addition to our recycling stock is a 1983 CF 250 chassis cab, this has an excellent engine and gearbox, fitted with the Bosch electronic ignition setup.
And unusual item available ex-stock is a low mileage 2.0/2.1 Opel diesel engine, complete with all ancillaries in good, dry, running condition.
Presently, we shall be rebuilding were 2300cc gearbox and Laycock overdrive. The overdrive unit supplied by ORS will be updated with a new solenoid and switches. Fitting this unit will not only improve your fuel economy, but reduce engine revolutions and noise levels, making for a far more comfortable driving experience, as well as saving you money!
